Although the "Holy Grail" in terms of fedoras, they seem to be hit or miss in terms of quality control and final product. Those interested, should be prepared for a long wait. HJ really is not dependent on the publics business (i.e. Hatter to the Royal Family), and it seems that service is dependent on what mood they're in or who you speak with on the phone. If you are looking for a product from the original maker, this is your hat; but if you are looking for the authentic specs in a fedora, this may not necessarily be your best option.

Golden Fertility Idol
This idol can be clearly distinguished, by the eyes. The eyes are grooved, giving them a more 3D effect. The Raider's illustrated screenplay emphasizes the fact that the idol was seemingly gazing at Indy as he moved around the room.

The Whip

Headpiece of Ra (Raiders of the Lost Ark)
The Headpiece to the Staff of Ra is a key element to the plot of Raiders of the Lost Ark. As the story goes, the headpiece when taken to a special map room in the city of Tanis will lead those who know its secrets to the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant by using the sun light at a cetain time of day to cast a beam of light from a crystal set in the middle on the headpeice. The light from the sun would reflect through the crystal and show the exact location of the Ark in Tanis.

The Revolver
During my three main adventures, depicted in the movies, I acutally used three different types of guns, which the makers of the films managed to do in the movie as well. For the Raiders movie, it was a Smith and Wesson Revolver. In my adventure in the Temple of Doom I used a Colt Revolver then in the Last Crusade I used a British Webley Mk VI Revolver. (Pictured above is the one from when I was after the Lost Ark)

The Ark of the Covenant (Raiders of the Lost Ark)
According to Marcus, he has said that the Raider of the Lost Ark was the fan favorite of the adventures I had that were turned into movies. When I saw it myself, I was amazed at some of the stunt they had, mainly me chasing after the truck. I will say that they did an amazing job on the scenes where they captured Marion, that had to be the hardest part of that quest for me, running through all of those people, but Marion had to hide in that basket which was the cause of all the trouble! Anyways, getting back to the Ark, all I can really give you is a few excerpts from the Bible which talks about the Ark.
-And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. Exodus 25:10-22
-According to Deuteronomy 10:2, Moses placed the second set of tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments in the Ark.
-Deuteronomy 10:8 states that Hebrews from the tribe of Levi were to carry the Ark and perform priestly duties for the people of Israel.
-Bezalel actually made the Ark and the poles from Acacia wood and then made a gold molding around it. The carrying rings were cast from gold and attached to the Ark's feet. Exodus 37:1-9
-Aaron and his sons could not enter the Tabernacle without first offering sacrifices for their sins. He also had to perform rituals and wear the correct garments. Leviticus 16:2-34(Perhaps this is why Belloq didn't fare too well in Raiders.)

The Sankara Stones (The Temple of Doom)
The driving force behind my quest to that Temple of Doom were the missing Sankara Stones. One of the five stones was found in a small village, providing crops and life to the people. Two stones were found beneath Pankot Palace where Mola Ram had slaves digging for the remaining two. Mola Ram believed that once he found all five stones he would be able to destroy the other religions of the world, his first step to conquering the globe for his goddess Kali.

The Holy Grail (The Last Crusade)
The Holy Grail has taken on many shapes and names over the last two thousand years of its history. Whether it was made by Christ or belonged to the host of the Last Supper, it was cherished through the centuries as Christianities' most prized artifact. An entire literary genre flowered around the Holy Grail. Lucasfilm's depiction of the Holy Grail was realized not as a beautifully decorated chalice, but as a simple clay cup. Historically, the actual cup would be two-thousand-years-old. In keeping with this continuity, the grail prop shows heavy weathering, gold peeling from its surface. The interior of the cup, however, still maintains a solid gold surface. The Lucasfilms Archives states that the cup is clay, but the actual prop would have been made of a plastic resin. When the cup is kicked by Elsa into the abyss, it lands on a small ledge. It's doubtful that a two thousand year old clay cup would survive such treatment. Marcus has told me that on May 11th 2000 (I think that was the date), a bid on one of the Grails used in the movie (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) closed at $3,150.
